Florence
Florence

Nowadays, it’s pretty easy to call yourself a Renaissance Man – you basically have to just declare the title. Whether you’re a master of an art, a business, or a sport, the world is your stage to prove such an ambitious claim. But back during that productive period called the Renaissance, Florence was the stage. As the capital of culture, commerce, and politics, the city-state of Florence was the pearl in an oyster of innovation, power, and prestige during one of the most impressive times of human existence. We hate to say it, but with guys like Leonardo Da Vinci and Niccolo Machiavelli, you’ve got big shoes to fill.

What good is power and prestige with out a little fun? Sometimes you’ve got to cash in and indulge. Fortunately for you, Florentine nightlife was made for indulgence. Grab the attention of some inquisitive eyes at the closest piazza or the hottest dance floor and strut your stuff as if your lastname were Medici.  Not enough indulgence? How ‘bout calling a former, royal villa home? Some of Florence’s best hotels and accommodations are just that.

Like everything else, the Florentine people have made partying an art. Indulgence, whether it comes to food & dining or entertainment, is a top priority in La Cittá Bella and living the good life is the status quo on either side of the Arno. So pick up a pen and take some notes, class is always insession here. There’s no better place to marvel in the capability of man.

Today, more than anything, Florence stands as a symbol of such achievement. From the Duomo to the Uffizi, inspiration is around every cobblestone corner of this town-like city. More navigable by foot than any other mode of transportation, discovering treasures is what this place is all about. Other metropolises may claim to be the center of art, but pound for pound Florence is the champ. From prized galleries to grand architecture, tables of mouth watering Tuscan cuisine, and some of the finest shopping and crafted goods in the world, the Florentine Fleur-de-lis is the judge and jury of cultural value.
